The religious landscape throughout Cruseryx is diverse and often complex in it's history. Whilst it is understood that all Gods were born from the Divine Spark that was either gifted unto them by or forcefully claimed, it is not well documented on how the Gods ended up with the affiliations and domains that we know them for today. The Gods themselves have never been known to have an innate connection to a specific race (with the exception of the Shadar-Kai and The Raven Queen), in the millennia since their rebirth, many of them have had their stigma's claimed and domineered by certain races.

The Merric races, as the primary force behind The Caelian Empire, has defined it's affinity for the largest majority of Gods within it's inner pantheon. The loosely accepted distribution of Gods is as follows;

Merric Driven Pantheon

  • Sesher, God of Funerals, Rites & Passing
  • Daagi, God of Victory, Glory & Triumph
  • Dione, Goddess of Marriage, Love & Tranquillity
  • Iddona, Goddess of Fertility, Motherhood & The Hearth
  • Etia, Goddess of Visions, Oracles & Prophecies
  • Torina, Goddess of Chivalry, Honour & Humility
  • Xithos, God of Knowledge, Scholars & Learning
  • Uion, God of Beauty, Fame & Pleasure
  • Ata Goddess of Seas, Storms & Gales
  • Akasis, God of Night, Shadow & Silence
  • Dhyker, God of Thieves, Luck & Misdirection
  • Igara, Goddess of Judgement, Mercy & Punishment
  • Mekash, God of Riches, Merchants & Nobility

Dwarven Driven Pantheon

Orcish Driven Pantheon

  • Snaarik, God of Fury, Rage & Combat
  • Daagi, God of Victory, Glory & Triumph

Elven Driven Pantheon

Dragonborn Driven Pantheon

The Dragonborn Pantheon is split between two levels, the God-Dragons; children of the Primordial Drake Arkunethax, and the Greatwyrms, who represent the apex of each coloured dragon type. My understanding is that Arkunethax created the God-Dragons, who then went on to create the variety of coloured dragons that we know of today. It seems as though "Greatwyrm" is more of an inherited title, as opposed to a completely different creature as I have heard tales of ancient dragons challenging and defeating their Greatwyrm in order to take their place.God-Dragons

  • Tiamat, Queen of Chromatic Dragons
  • Bahumat, King of Metallic Dragons
  • Saridor, Lord of Gemstone Dragons
Chromats
Metallics
Gemstone

Note for distinction; some of the names above are listed as Progenitors and some as Greatwyrms. This wording represents the difference between those that created their aligned Dragonborn variant, and those that are the current apex of their colouring, respectively.

Primordials

It would be remiss of the Grand Library to not include the list of known Primordials, despite them not being counted amongst the ranks of godly figures;
