Phandalin

A burgeoning town in the heart of The Coastal Protectorate, Phandalin is a thriving community of Dwarves, Humans, Half-Elves and a minority of Smallfolk. With the discovery of Platinum mines within the last few years by its most recent Governor, the Lady Serena, it has become a much wealthier settlement, not needing to rely as heavily on the Imperial Development Bureau to sustain its existence.

Not far from Phandalin, there is an old mineshaft that predates even The Caelian Empire and contains an old and mysterious power in the form of a small green-flamed brazier. The brazier is a well kept secret, with only the Lady Serena, her companions, a number of Vigil Oculatus guardians and The Emperor himself knowing of its presence.
