First Primordial War

The First Primordial War took place around 10,000 EC and was the event that shaped the world as we know it now. The tyranny of the Primordials had been suffered for eons and the mortal races of the whole planet wanted a better life and so they began revolting, one by one, in defiance of their overlords. The mortals of that time were fortunate - fortunate that some of the Primordials cared enough about them to provide a chance at victory.
There came a point, where the mortals believed that their struggles were in vain and no victory could be achieved, when it is said that Aluneire, creator of the Elves came forth and ripped apart her own life essence and let it flow into mortal bodies. This divine spark elevated those affected into being of immense power - the gods that we know today. Aluneire's sacrifice was not an isolated incident, as many other creator Primordials gave up their own lives to give their children a chance for survival. This chance was not wasted.
The infighting and factionalism of the Primordials compared to the unity and strength shown by the mortals and their new gods changed the tide of the way. One by one, Primordials were felled and more mortal champions ascended to divinity.
This war had lasted for 10 long and gruelling years before Aluneire made her sacrifice and acted as the catalyst for change, but once that had taken place, the war was over within 6 months.
Due to the new gods having only recently been mortal men and women, they continued to walk amongst the realm of the Mundane World for millennia to come.
