Azurius embodies the elven belief that wrongdoing leaves a spiritual stain upon the world. That stain must be burned away. Mercy has its place, but justice that carries no consequence invites further corruption.

He is not a god of law in the mortal sense.

He is a god of moral balance enforced through righteous fury.
