After spending a few days sorting through the treasure horde of [[Venomfang]], the group travelled onwards to [[Conyberry]] in order to meet with the 'Diviner' that had been the focus of so many peoples attention. On the outskirts of the ruined village, the ratcatchers had their first face to face encounter with [[Glasstaff]] and his [[Goblinoids|Goblinoid]] goons. The ambush was unsuccessful and the party dispatched it with ease, unfortunately they were unable to capture [[Glasstaff]] alive. On his corpse however, they discovered a second black ink letter containing details of troop movement and the displeasure of  [[The Black Spider]] with Albrek's failings.

The remaining track to the 'Diviner' was clear and they eventually happened upon its wooded home. Pale and ghostly in complexion, the Banshee - Agatha - offered to answer a single question from the party in exchange for the silver comb that was gifted to them by [[Sister Garaele]]. Without a single word spoken, the Banshee accepted the accord, and retreated back into her hidden realm. Once their business in [[Conyberry]] had concluded, they were on the road once again, travelling back towards [[Phandalin]]. By this time, I had heard about the disappearance of [[Venomfang]] and the potential for an exchange with the ratcatchers - scrolls for artifacts. After seeing the array of items I had on hand, they agreed to exchange many of the spell scrolls found in the dragons horde. I was also able to impart on them my finding regarding [[The Black Spider]] and the letters he had been sending, which prompted many of the group to ask specific questions of their own.

Both Kjell and Serena asked me to look into unanswered questions from their past, whilst Vershan provided me additional information to help speed up my research into his quarry.

A rather unexpected event happened that night, which has been perplexed. The party's spellcaster, Solas, received an appropriately ominous dragon print note. I do not know if this means something to him, or if it is as much a mystery to him as it is to me. I think I will know my answer if he comes calling for help with this matter the next time we meet.

The group knew they has spent enough time sitting around, and were quick to get back out on the road to seek out the hilltop cave at [[Wyvern Tor]]. [[Reidoth]] was happy to lead the way, after defeating the dragon and restoring the balance he craved. As indicated by both the [[Harbin Stonecleaver|Townmaster]] and the intercepted black letter, [[Wyvern Tor]] was currently occupied by [[Orcs|Orcish]] raiders, spearheaded by the ruthless [[Chief Dohma Raskovar]]. This blooded orc had come down from the mountain tribes to carve out new dominion within the [[Neverwinter Wood]] and surrounding settlements.
